Mr. Hurley is a Senior Managing Director, serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Artemis and sits on the Investment Committee. He is a Senior Counsel and owner of CRE Legal Advisors. Mr. Hurley joined Artemis/CRE Legal Advisors in April 2015 and is based in metropolitan Washington, DC.

Prior to joining Artemis/CRE Legal, Mr. Hurley was an attorney at DLA Piper. While at DLA Piper, his law practice involved all types of commercial property including office buildings, shopping centers, multi-family developments and industrial and hospitality properties. Mr. Hurley has represented buyers and sellers in large commercial acquisitions and dispositions as well as landlords in commercial leases. Mr. Hurley also represented lenders and borrowers in real estate finance transactions including mezzanine loans, other multi-layered debt structures, construction loans and loan workouts.

Mr. Hurley received a BA from Georgetown University, and a JD / MBA from Santa Clara University. He is a guest lecturer at Georgetown University.
