Mr. Sheehy is a Senior Managing Director and sits on the Investment Committee. Mr. Sheehy leads Artemis’ healthcare-related acquisitions and asset management. He joined Artemis in May 2017 and is based in Atlanta, GA.

Prior to Artemis, Mr. Sheehy spent six years at Formation Capital as a Managing Director, where he helped oversee Formation’s effort to identify new investment opportunities in healthcare real estate and healthcare private equity and was responsible for the investment of over $400 million in equity, representing $1.6 billion in total acquisitions. In total, Mr. Sheehy managed and co-managed the investment of over $3.0 billion in transactions across a broad range of healthcare investments, products and companies. While at Formation, Mr. Sheehy served as a board member of Hospice Compassus, RHA Health Services and Frontier Management. Prior to Formation Capital, Mr. Sheehy worked for six years with members of the Artemis senior team at J.E. Robert Companies.

Mr. Sheehy received a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School at the University of Virginia. He also served on the McIntire Young Alumni Council and served as Chairman of the Future Leaders Council for the National Investment Center for the Senior Housing and Care Industry (NIC).
